The 98th Oscars took place on Sunday, with big commercial films in the Best Picture race, and wide-open races in several major categories. The only contender for Best Actor is Leonardo DiCaprio, with Timothée Chalamet's Marty Supreme taking home the Golden Globe. Sean Penn is a strong contender in Best Supporting Actor for his portrayal of Frank Lockjaw. Both films are major studio efforts from Warner Bros. and are being sold to Paramount Global.
