Darius Hall, 18, is accused of fatally shooting a 61-year-old woman in Houston Heights during an attempted robbery. The shooting occurred on Saturday morning near W. 20th and Lawrence Street. The victim, identified as Marietta Allison, died from her injuries after being transported to the hospital for treatment. Hall, who was involved in an hours-long standoff with SWAT officers after crashing the stolen car, has been denied bond on capital murder charges. He is also under supervision for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon as a juvenile.
