The jury trial for Kouri Richins, accused of murdering her husband, Eric Richins and writing a children's book about coping with grief, continues as state prosecutors near the end of their case. The first week of the trial saw testimony from Richins' family, business partner, and private investigator in the case, and retired law enforcement agent. Carmen Lauber, the Richins’ former housekeeper who allegedly provided Kouri with fentanyl, and Robert Crozier, the alleged drug supplier, testified. The trial resumed for week two with testimony from a domestic relations attorney, phone call recordings from Kouri following Eric's death, and testimony from several friends.
