CapCapCapitol is attempting to appease the director of Resident Evil 2, Hideki Kamiya, who has been advocating for a more peaceful Resident Evil game since 1998. The developer has depicted an image of Grace Ashcroft being choked to death and added little pink cat ears to her character Selena, while adding some cherry blossom branches and floating petals. Kamiya has previously requested a "non-scary" mode in the series, stating that he just wants to enjoy the puzzles and not the horror aspect of the game. He also recommends turning the game into a more relaxed version of the series.
