Tulsi Gabbard, the Director of National Intelligence for the US, has been accused of being hypocritical in her dealings with the Trump administration. Prior to joining the administration, she was known for her uncompromising anti-war philosophy and anti-Iran war message. She ran for president in 2020 while serving as a congresswoman for Hawaii's second district, her platform was designed to oppose Iran's nuclear program. Despite being named as the director of national intelligence, she has kept a low profile and has been seen as a quiet force within the administration against the "deep state". This has led to speculation that she may be reassigned to an ambassadorship in a country far away.
