Prospect Park, New Jersey, Superintendent Hector Montes warned that the 800-student district is at risk of state oversight due to financial issues and financial issues. Montes, who joined the district last summer as superintendent and elementary school principal, received a Rice Notice, a legally required notice before his employment was discussed. The school board's attorney, Albert Buglione, publicly blamed Montes for "operational issues," including potential pornography. The district's fourth superintendent in four years, Montes will submit weekly written reports to the school board for improvements.
