Eight people have been arrested in Phillips County, Arkansas, for allegedly attempting to illegally influence the outcome of the 2024 primary election. One suspect, Lita Moore Johnson, allegedly instructed multiple voters to illegally change their voter registration to vote for her in the runoff election for the position of Justice of the Peace for District 9. She has been charged with two felony counts of Solicitation to Commit Perjury and seven others with felony Persecution.
