Melissa Gilbert, wife of actor Timothy Busfield, has publicly supported her husband in her first interview since he was charged with child sex abuse. The interview, set to air on "Good Morning America," includes a preview of the interview with George Stephanopoulos. Busfield was arrested in January over allegations that he was inappropriate with child actors while working on the Fox series "The Cleaning Lady." The abuse allegedly occurred between 2022 and 2025. Despite the charges, Busfield has denied the allegations and has claimed they are an act of retaliation as the boys were eventually recast on the show.
