A multi-vehicle crash in Newark has resulted in two children and a firefighter being taken to the hospital. The incident occurred on McCarter Highway near the intersection of the highway. The driver who stopped was not injured and left the scene, leading to a chain reaction of five vehicles. The children and the firefighter were taken to University Hospital for evaluation.
