Bruce Springsteen has collaborated with The American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) for a 30-second video promoting the 14th Amendment granting automatic citizenship to anyone born in the U.S. A week before the Supreme Court is set to hear arguments in Trump v. Barbara, a case stemming from a Jan. 2025 executive order from President Trump attempting to reduce the 14's grant of automatic citizenship. The ACLU argues that the repeal of the 158-year-old Amendment would leave five million children without birthright citizenship over the next two decades and disrupt the lives of hundreds of thousands of families.
