Suspect fatally shot during gunfight with Richfield police identified by family

The family of the man killed in Richfield has identified him as Desaver Hollis. The incident occurred around 3:24 a.m. on April 29 after a neighbor reported a person being targeting cars. During the chase, police officers encountered a gunman and several shots were fired. The suspect died at the scene and the injured officer is recovering at a nearby hospital. The Bureau of Criminal Enforcement is investigating the incident.
