Bob Hayes Invitational brings athletes back to Jacksonville to honor Olympic, NFL legend

The Bob Hayes Invitational and Gala is being held in Jacksonville, Florida, to honor the late Olympic, NFL legend Robert Lee Hayes. Hayes, known as "Bullet Bob," was the only athlete to win both an Olympic gold medal and a Super Bowl ring. The event allows student athletes to showcase their talents and offers scholarships. The invitational, which started in 1962, is already sold out with about 164 teams and the gala is sold out. The theme for the event is "Remembering the Legacy and Running towards the Vision".
