The National Weather Service is reporting a potentially severe storm threat for SE Wisconsin in the afternoon, with a Winter Weather Advisory covering our NORTHERN COUNTIES and a Severe Weather Warning in effect across the region. An ICE Storm Warning is in effect from RHINELANDER DOWN SOUTH OF STEVENS POINT to GREEN BAY, and an ICE STORM WARNING is in place. The weather service has also issued a Winter WEATHER ADVISORY for Northern Wisconsin for Northern Northern COUNTies. The potential severe weather is expected to occur later in the day, with strong winds expected to be strong, but potentially strong, dangerous winds forecast. The National Weather Council is also in effect, with temperatures expected to fluctuate throughout the day.
