The identity of the humanoid Cylons in "Battlestar Galactica" was a major mystery in the show, with many believing there could be Cylon hidden among humans. The identity of these humanoid Cylon characters was revealed in season 3 of the "Final Five" in which one of the Five was revealed as Colonel Saul Tigh (Michael Hogan), the character least suspected to be a Cylon. Despite initially being surprised by Tigh's identity, Hogan maintained his performance and kept playing the character well-played. He had previously objected to Tigh being on New Caprica during the occupation, but Tigh was given starring roles in some of the show's most incredible episodes. The revelation of Tigh as a Cylont led to an incredible scene where he was finally revealed to Adama, who he believes he owes his friend Bill Adama the truth.
