Voters are choosing Marjorie Taylor Greene's successor in a special election in northwest Georgia's 14th Congressional District, following her resignation from Congress following a dispute with President Donald Trump. Top candidates include Republicans Clay Fuller and Colton Moore, and Democrat Shawn Harris. Fuller, a district attorney endorsed by Trump, hopes to avoid a runoff if no candidate wins a majority of votes in the district. The winner will serve out the remaining months of Greene's term, but must also run again if they wish to remain in Congress beyond next January. The election could be only the first step in an elections marathon in the area.
