The FBI's Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) library houses thousands of previously sealed or long-buried files on famous individuals, including Al Capone and Anna Nicole Smith. The file, which documents 1976–77 exchanges between Oregon's Bigfoot Information Center and the FBI, reveals that Oregon's Bobbi Information Center sent 15 hairs on skin to the FBI after press attention. The FBI's lab agreed to test the hairs, concluding they were from the deer family, not Bigfoot. However, devotees believe there may be more files. The results of the test were not substantively disclosed, leading to speculation that the FBI may have more documents.
