Gearbox CEO, Randy Pitchford, has stated that the company will not use AI for "any work that could ever be seen" following a bizarre Twitter post by Pitchford. The post, which included a ChatGPT-generated image of a Gearbox employee, sparked controversy among fans and within the company. Pitchford insists that he does not use any AI for work and that he is using his personal phone and not his work computer. This comes after several large game studios have publicly experimented with AI in various disciplines, particularly for QA and adjacent roles.
