Weight loss drugs: €400m tablet factory to be built in Ireland

Novo Nordisk, the maker of the weight-loss drug Wegovy, plans to invest over €400m to upgrade its facility in Athlone, County Westmeath, Ireland. The investment is seen as a historic milestone by the company and its employees. The drug was approved for sale in the United States in January and is expected to be approved on other markets soon.
