Guns N' Roses guitarist Slash was lucky to survive an incident at an airport where his manager, Alan Niven, intervened when some members of the band showed up at the airport with drugs. Niven discovered that Izzy Stradlin had drugs that would likely be found by authorities and advised him to flush them.
