Apple’s Mac Pro is dead, apparently for good this time

Apple's Mac Pro, the most expensive Mac available on the market, has been discontinued. The Mac Pro had been part of Apple's lineup since 2006 when Apple switched from Arm to Intel processors. The M2 Ultra edition of the Mac Pro launched three years ago but lacked support for adding a new GPU, many professionals who should've been its target market said they didn't want one. The company has acknowledged that the design of its Mac Pro was problematic, with large single-GPU cards preferred over multiple GPUs.
