The trial of Peter Zabala, a convicted sex offender charged with the 2018 murder of Ashley Tucker, has been postponed to October 13. This is the third postponement in three months. Zabal has been charged with first-degree murder and the concealment of her death. Tucker was reported missing in October 2018 and her charred remains were found in a barrel. An agreement for a new trial date was reached on Monday between the defense and prosecutors. Both parties plan to meet on June 26 to resolve any outstanding issues.
