King Charles III, the UK King, joked that President Trump would be speaking French if it were not for the U.S. if it weren't for them, according to King Charles III. This comment came during the state dinner, following Charles' address to Congress where he addressed Congress about the U., US and UK's long-held alliance. This comes amid tense relations between the U.-K. and the US. Charles and Queen Camilla are set to travel from Washington, D.C., to New York City for a series of events, including a visit to the 9/11 Memorial at One World Trade Center with New York Mayor Zohran Mamdani. The guest list for tonight's state dinner includes Amazon’s Jeff Bezos, Apple’�s Tim Cook and Paramount CEO David Ellison. The state dinner will feature cuisines that celebrate American ingredients and cooking styles.
