Lakers star LeBron James missed his third consecutive game due to hip, foot, and elbow injuries. The team ruled him out two hours before tipoff due to a right hip contusion and left foot arthritis. This was the first time James had missed consecutive games since making his season debut in mid-November. The Lakers entered the game with a 13-7 record in the games he didn't play this season, including 9-2 in games Luka Doncic and Austin Reaves have played without him. James, who has scored the most points in NBA history, is averaging 21.4 points (50.4% shooting), seven assists, 5.6 rebounds and 1.1 steals in 44 games this season.
