The Utah Mammoth ended their five-game road trip with a 5-0 loss to the Minnesota Wild, ending it with a loss at Grand Casino Arena. The Wild's Filip Gustavsson made 25 saves for his fourth shutout of the season, while Kirill Kaprizov scored a goal and an assist, Vladimir Tarasenko contributed two assists, and Bobby Brink scored his first goal with the team. The loss was the culmination of a three-game trip that saw the Utah team lose 3-2 in overtime against the Chicago Blackhawks. The Mammoth's head coach, Andrè Tourigny, acknowledged the team's overall performance on the trip.
