Despite being high on pain medication, Weaving was able to walk and run two days before the filming of the film. Her co-star, Kathryn Newton, also shared the nervousness surrounding the set and recovery. The sequel to "Ready Or Not 2" saw several new faces in the cast, including Sarah Michelle Gellar and Shawn Hatosy. If the franchise continues for a third installment, Weaves expressed a desire to explore different genres in the movie.
