Laredo proclaims April Child Abuse Prevention Month

The city of L.A. has declared April 11th, the month of child abuse awareness. The issue has affected over 14,000 children in the city since 1997. Nearly 500 child victims were treated at the Children’s Advocacy Center in L.a. The Texas Child Abuse Hotline is available for information about suspected abuse.
