Janette MacAusland, an acupuncturist mom, is accused of murdering her two young children, Kai, 7, and Ella, 6, in a $1.5 million home in Wellesley, Mass. Her life was reportedly crumbling behind closed doors, as her marriage was failing and her husband was fighting her for the house and the kids. Despite these struggles, MacAUSland remained positive about her children and was described as "gentle, kind, with-it and personable" in both her professional and personal life. She allegedly confessed to strangling the children inside the family’s home. The children’ bodies were found maimed at the scene of the killings.
