Chinese national arrested after allegedly photographing planes at Offutt Air Force Base

A Chinese national, Tianrui Liang, was arrested at JFK airport on April 7 after being accused of photographing Offutt Air Force Base. According to federal court documents, Liang was seen pulling off with a telescopic lens and taking photos of the base on March 31. Court documents also reveal that Liang had made a stop at the Ellsworth Air Force base in South Dakota and planned on heading to the Tinker Air Force B in Oklahoma after the incident.
