Turkish authorities have detained 10 people in connection with a gun attack outside the Israeli consulate in Istanbul, including the two wounded assailants. The remaining eight suspects were also arrested following the attack. The interior ministry declined to comment on the detentions, while the police and prosecutor's office could not be immediately reached for comment. The attacker killed at the scene was identified as Yunus Emre Sarban, who had previously been linked to financial networks with ties to the Islamic State militant group. The investigation is ongoing.
