Chance of thunderstorms late Thursday and Friday

Isolated severe thunderstorms are possible for much of Nebraska and Northern Kansas on Thursday and Friday, with isolated to scattered severe storms possible in Eastern Nebraska. Temperatures are expected to remain above average through early next week. This morning will be mostly cloudy to cloudy for much, with areas of fog and drizzle expected to dissipate and decrease, but the afternoon will be mainly cloudy and partly cloudy, with a potential for showers and thunderstorms late in the afternoon and evening. Some storms could be severe with large hail and damaging winds being the main threat. The weekend and Monday look to be mostly sunny and dry, with temperatures expected to be above average throughout the week.
