Robin Nelson, the current vice president of the Fargo Board of Education, has announced her candidacy for the June 9, 2026 election. She has served more than 20 years and has served three terms as board president. She plans to focus on improving learning outcomes, closing achievement gaps and maintaining small class sizes.
