West Fargo Sheyenne, North Dakota's East Region No. 2 Mustangs, won 2-1 over East No. 4 West Fargo Horace in the North Dakota Class A baseball state tournament semifinals. The winning pitcher Mason Wickham allowed one run on four hits in an efficient 97-pitch effort. Sheyennes will play against East No.-3 Fargo South in the championship game at 2 p.m. The defending state-champion Mustangs will return to the state championship game, having won 4 of the last 5 state tournaments. Despite a two-run home run by Sheyenn's first baseman Hudson Dinger and a strikeout by Hawks starter Cason Borchardt, who also pitched a complete game.
