Windy Weekend Brings Marine Hazards and Rip Currents

A windy weekend is predicted for the weekend, with strong coastal winds and marine hazards expected. The northeast wind will increase to 15 to 25 mph, with gusts reaching 35 to 45 mph possible east of I-95. There is also a potential chance of passing showers to coastal counties. A Gale Watch is in effect for near and offshore waters and may be upgraded to a Gale Warning.
