Bidens Adopt 2 Black Lab Rescues After White House Challenges with Pet German Shepherds

Former President Joe Biden and former first lady Dr. Jill Biden have adopted two black lab mixes from Rescue DOG & End of Life Sanctuary in Mountain City, Tenn. The adoption comes after the former president's two German Shepherds, Champ and Major, were removed from the White House in 2021 due to aggressive behavior. The animal shelter confirmed the dogs' transfer to the Bidens in Delaware on March 25.
