3 Derby trophies from Hall of Fame jockey Calvin Borel up for auction

A new auction is offering Kentucky Derby trophies and a saddle from Hall of Fame jockey Calvin Borel. The sterling silver jockey trophies from 2007, 2009, and 2010 Derby wins are also part of the spring 2026 classic auction from Lelands auction house. Other sports memorabilia, including items from Secretariat and Muhammad Ali, are also featured. The opening bids for each engraved sterling silver trophy were set at $2,500, but current bids as of April 7 were between $4,400 and nearly $3,900. Other Kentucky Derby memorabilia includes tickets, a program and ticket stubs from the 1973 Kentucky Derby.
