The Avalanche has signed 24-year-old senior from Michigan, TJ Hughes, for a one-year entry-level contract for the 2026-27 season. Hughes was the highest-profile undrafted free agent in college hockey this season, scoring 22 goals and 57 points in 40 games for the Wolverines. He also received first-team All-American honors.
