Karol G Wants Coachella Performance to Have Impact on Latin Community, More Than Just Saying “ICE Out”

Colombian singer Karol G, set to become the first Latina artist to headline Coachella, has expressed her desire to make a significant impact on the Latin community in her performance, particularly in light of the criticism of the US Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) under President Donald Trump for its aggressive tactics towards the Hispanic community. Rather than using the popular anti-ICE phrase "ICE Out" in reference to the agency's treatment of the Hispanic population, she believes it will make a more impactful statement. She also expressed her intention to represent her community more than just say "ICE out" and not just condemn it.
