Bristol Palin, the 35-year-old daughter of former Alaska governor and vice presidential candidate, has been suffering from facial paralysis for over a year. In an Instagram story posted to her account, she explained that she plans to have a consultation with a plastic surgeon in Austin, Texas, to resolve the issue. She highlighted her discomfort when she smiles and expressed a desire for Botox or surgery. The condition, which is usually temporary, is speculated to be Bell’s Palsy, which causes sudden weakness in facial muscles on one side of the face.
