However, drivers who received tickets for speeding in front of Pinecrest Preparatory Academy Middle-High School were unaware they were at the wrong address. A month later, the ticket's address was changed to reflect the location and direction of travel listed on the violation, which Erick Perez believes is incorrect. The Miami-dade Sheriff's Office confirmed that the school where the violation was received was at the same school. The sheriff's office has decided to void all violations issued during the affected timeframe and refunded any payments made in connection with those violations.
