A 16-year-old boy, Marquise Byfield, was gunned down during a fight inside a Brooklyn bodega after stepping into the Livonia Deli & Grocery when he got into a fight with another teen. He was shot in the chest and groin area and later died at Brookdale University Hospital. The shooter, believed to be between 15 and 16 years old, managed to escape before police arrived and is still being sought by authorities. The incident occurred at about 4:15 p.m. on Friday at the bodeg.
