A high court in Kanazawa, Japan, has rejected an appeal by Hiroji Daimon, a 54-year-old former company executive who was convicted of quasi-rape for sexually assaulting his teenage daughter multiple times. The court dismissed Daimon's claim that he had covered her daily living expenses as "financial restitution". The appeal was dismissed by presiding judge Keisuke Masuda, who stated there was no room to reconsider the original prison term.
