Apple has begun addressing a security issue called DarkSword, which can install spyware on an unpatched older version of iOS and potentially steal money and tax. If you have kept your iPhone software up to date, the exploit is already known. However, an Apple spokesperson has advised that any users who have not updated from iOS 18 to iOS 26 should update their device.
