The Asian District Cultural Association in Oklahoma City is planning a public safety meeting after a man was fatally beaten outside a laundromat. The meeting will address community concerns and will be held later this month at Lee's Sandwiches on Classen Boulevard. The victim, identified as 59-year-old Cap Nguyen, was attacked early Saturday morning outside a laundryromat near Northwest 30th Street and Classen Blvd. The group plans to host a "community public safety" meeting with the Oklahoma City police chief later this year. Organizers say the meeting will provide an opportunity for questions, share concerns and discuss ways to keep the Asian District safe.
