Disney+ “Ramping Up Production” Across Europe

Disney+ is increasing its production across Europe, with projects such as a documentary on Welsh soul singer Duffy and a murder mystery set in Italy. The streamer's head of content for Europe, the Middle East and Africa, Angela Jain, highlighted several regional highlights, including a feature documentary on Duffy. In Italy, Disney+ has commissioned "a classic whodunit" based on Tom Hindle's book, "Murder on Lake Garda". In Turkey, the company will produce "The Strange Story of Gustava", a supernatural comedy about a 350-year-old vampire virgin.
