Apple has four new iPhone satellite features rumored, here’s what’s coming

Apple's satellite partner, GlobalStar, was acquired by Amazon and rumors suggest that the company is working together to introduce four new satellite features to the iPhone. The C2 modem in the iPhone 18 Pro, 18 Pro Max, and iPhone Ultra is set to add support for 5G over satellite, making it more convenient for users to receive faster connection speeds. Apple is also reportedly working on an API to allow third-party developers to tap into satellite connections for features in their apps.
