The BBC has secured the rights to the hit psychological reality series "The Traitors" and its spin-off "The Celebrity Traitors," both made by Studio Lambert Scotland, in a new three-year deal keeping them on BBC One and iPlayer until at least 2030. The show has been a success with an average audience of 14.9m across the run and a peak of 15.4m for the finale, making it the top entertainment episode across the whole market since 2016 and the number one series across all genres and platforms in 2025. The fourth series of "TheTraitors," which began in 2026, achieved a 12.5m 28-day average, up 22% on Series Three (10.3m). The majority of viewing has been driven by BBC iPlayer, making up 53% of the audience.
