Morganton secures $8M to repair water system damaged by Hurricane Helene

The city of North Carolina has been awarded $8 million by Governor Josh Stein for improvements to its water system following Hurricane Helene. The funds will be used for water and resiliational works, including repairing damaged water pump stations. The money is from the Drinking Water State Revolving Funds.
