The Dorset Heaths Partnership has urged people to remain vigilant during an amber wildfire weather warning. Over 60 firefighters from the Dorset & Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service tackled multiple fires on 28 and 29 March near Sandford Heath and Great Ovens Hill. Public Spaces Protection Orders are in place in most areas, allowing for fines for anyone having a campfire or a publicisha.
