US securing military, charter flights for citizens to leave Middle East, official says

The United States is securing military and charter flights to evacuate Americans from the Middle East, according to a U.S. State Department official. The department is also in contact with about 500 Americans seeking to leave in Israel. Over 130 have already left and 100 more are expected to leave.
