The Mendham Alliance for Preservation and Conservation (MAPC) and the New Jersey Highlands Coalition are challenging the Mendham Borough Joint Land Use Board's approval of a five-story, 75-unit apartment complex. The MAPC alleges that the Board failed to follow required legal steps under New Jersey's Municipal Land Use Law and the Borough's own ordinances. The nonprofit also highlights concerns about the Raritan River and its potential environmental impact.
